The convergence of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the landscape of scientific discovery and technological innovation. This powerful synergy is not only accelerating breakthroughs across disciplines but also redefining what is computationally possible. From climate modeling and drug discovery to autonomous systems and advanced materials science, the fusion of HPC and AI is unlocking solutions to some of the world’s most complex challenges. Inaugurated in 2024, the International Forum of HPC & AI Co-driven Innovation (HACI) was established to create a premier academic platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, by bringing together global expertise to explore cutting-edge advancements and collaborative opportunities at the intersection of HPC and AI. With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, the forum will feature in-depth explorations of emerging topics such as: next-generation HPC+AI system architectures, emerging storage technologies, programming models and parallel algorithms, system software for novel computing platforms, large-scale applications, etc. We warmly invite researchers, engineers, and industry leaders to join us in this dynamic exchange of ideas. Together, we will explore the frontiers of HPC and AI integration, nurture the next generation of talent, and push forward the innovations that will shape the future of computing.
